  My name is Debra Cook. I live with my husband and two sons in the North

  East of England.

  My love of all things Greek started many years ago on a holiday to Corfu.

  I've always been interested in travel and a few years ago when booking

  holidays over the internet became so popular I began organising holidays

  for friends and family to save them having to trawl round the travel agents

  on the high street on their days off.

  This progressed to weddings and I met Justine on holiday in Rhodes in

  2005 when I was planning my own wedding and we've worked with each

  other ever since.

  With the economic climate the way it is overseas weddings are

  becoming even more popular. With the average cost of a UK wedding

  now between £15,000 and £20,000 and no guarantee of the weather

  you can see why overseas weddings are so appealing. A luxury

  wedding in the Greek islands averages at £6,000 to £8,000 and you're

  already there for your honeymoon so there's no extra costs involved for that.

  The prospect of organising an overseas wedding can be both daunting

  and scary and that's why I created Athena Dream Weddings. I had my

  dream wedding on Rhodes and it was the most magical day, words
